Jewellery of The Day

I have decided to start a regular jewellery of the day. I am in love with jewellery and look forward to seeing the new styles each season and playing around with new looks. My jewellery of the day today is playing with a silver chunky chain. Chains are definitely a must have for any wardrobe, it is my go to look and by adding a touch of difference I make the look my own.

 

Earrings: I love pearls and bling so when I saw these earrings I feel in love and brought them right away (They came with a matching necklace that will be in an up coming blog no doubt).

Necklaces: I have layered the chain with my favourite small item (at the moment) a three ring necklace.

Bracelets: I have brought the chunky look on to both wrists as well, with a chain look bangle and silver watch.

Lush Review

A few weeks ago now I brought these two wonderful products from Lush. My face and hair really got hit hard when the weather turned cold and it is a never ending battle to stop my skin and hair from being dry as I'm sure most of you have to face on a daily basis aswell. My number one stop was to the lovely ladies at Lush, I took what advice they had and brought some products to fight against my never ending battle.

 

The Sacred Truth Face Mask and H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Mask

Now I must say how flipping amazing the sacred truth face mask was. This is the nicest face mask I have ever used on my skin also one of the nicest smelling ones I have come across. I applied it all over my face avoiding my eye area, left it for 10 minutes and voila my skin felt better than ever. Very hydrated and silky smooth.

This hair mask was also amazingly fabulous! I have had to use it weekly to keep the results going but that hasn't been a problem at all. Its very luxurious having a girly night in and putting the hair mask through my hair. And after wards my hair is so soft, bouncy and visibly a lot less dry. Just the results I was after from this product! One downfall is that it doesn't smell the best at first I didn't really want to put it all over my hair but once it's in I just get the feeling that it is doing so much good to my hair that the smell doesn't bother me so much now!

I would highly recommend both of these products and will continue to buy the hair mask and use it on a weekly basis. Nails of the Day!

Here’s another nail art design I have tried out! A lady came in to my work the other day and had her nails done with little gems. It looked amazing on her and really eye catching so I thought I would try it out too. I managed to pick up a small pack of gems for only $9.99.  I came up with my own design as I went along, first choosing the colours I wanted then adding a few gems here and there. The colours I ended up with are both by Rimmel London a hot pink named Hot Shot and a purple named Lively Lilac. I must say I’m addicted to Lively Lilac I love it and find that it is my go to nail colour at the moment. To finish the design I sealed it with two coats of clear nail polish. 

 

I found using a pair of tweezers was very helpful to pick up and place the little gems on to my nails, I didn't buy the special ones they recommended on the packet I just used a pair I already had at home.

 

This is a really fun and girly design as well as bright and happy. With the winter weather taking all the colour out of the days it's nice to see a pop of colour.
