Nails of the Day!

Here’s another nail art design I have tried out! A lady came in to my work the other day and had her nails done with little gems. It looked amazing on her and really eye catching so I thought I would try it out too. I managed to pick up a small pack of gems for only $9.99.  I came up with my own design as I went along, first choosing the colours I wanted then adding a few gems here and there. The colours I ended up with are both by Rimmel London a hot pink named Hot Shot and a purple named Lively Lilac. I must say I’m addicted to Lively Lilac I love it and find that it is my go to nail colour at the moment. To finish the design I sealed it with two coats of clear nail polish. 

 

I found using a pair of tweezers was very helpful to pick up and place the little gems on to my nails, I didn't buy the special ones they recommended on the packet I just used a pair I already had at home.

 

This is a really fun and girly design as well as bright and happy. With the winter weather taking all the colour out of the days it's nice to see a pop of colour.
