Upcycling

I had two issues, the first being the excessive amount of jewellery I own and the second being the large amount of iPod boxes I have collected up over the years. When you buy something so perfect, and for me from a young age saved a lot of money any time I wanted to buy a new iPod,  all the little bits and bobs you get with that swanky new flash device just seem too good to throw away. Now as you can see I have had many iPod’s in my time I have been lucky enough to have my very first one go through the washing machine only days after I had brought it and another has gone missing… leading me to buy multiple versions and generations. I’m not too sure what made me think of this fantabulious idea (if I may say so myself)  but with the use of a Revlon gift box I was able to store my earrings, bracelets, rings and watches without spending a penny.

You will need:
Any old iPod/iPone cases you have (if you don’t have many then ask family and friends someone’s bound to have some you can have)
A box that you have floating around that has no real use (yet)

Method:
Mine still had the sticky tape bits holding the lids together I took these off. Then just arranged the clear cases in the box anyway that they fit. Lastly in went the jewellery. It is just as easy as that!

Then you have yourself the perfect Jewellery storage solution or anything else you fancy! I’m sure there is many other things this could be a storage solution for so store away :D

Other handy uses for old iPod cases:
keeping your Jewellery together when taking it off at the pool
Carrying medication in you handbag like panadol and hayfever tablets, cough lollies
Storing Hair ties, this is great for carrying spares in your handbag
Excess cards that don’t fit in your wallet and only use occasionally

I hope you have found this useful even if you don't have anything to store maybe you can help a friend in need.

Thanks for dropping by, Have a wonderful day!
